Stopped in and received a warm welcome in a very clean establishment. I tried their Huevos Rancheros and was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked over medium eggs with rice, beans, and corn tortillas. Excellent! Will be back and have already told a couple friends.
The food was absolutely delicious! The service was wonderful! Unfortunately, there was a younger couple with 2 little boys that were running amuck and making it impossible to enjoy the evening. They were beating on the bathroom door, turning out the lights while people were in the bathroom. Running, yelling, and completely out of control. One lady said something to them as she was leaving, and the parents actually had the gall to get mad at her for speaking up.
Nice lil hole on the wall place. Great flavorful food. Had the chimi lovers. I'll tell you what, the shrimp chimi was out of this world. So much flavor and a perfect amount of shrimp and peppers!! Will definitely be swinging by there again!!
This is a hidden gem. It is a great food at a great price. In a area you wouldn’t expect it.
Our power went out from a storm, so we went for a drive and dinner. Friends had recommended this place, but OMG, they didn’t adequately describe how amazing the food is! Shrimp tacos with mango pico — to die for! And the shrimp with cactus (can’t remember the name) - also to die for in a massive serving!! Servers were very attentive, especially Lauren! We definitely will be back!

Some of the best Mexican food, not just in Missouri or the Midwest, but anywhere. I live in New Mexico, so I'm not short on options for fantastic Mexican cuisine. I still make sure to eat here at least a couple of times every time I come back to Shelby county to visit family. My go-to orders at most Mexican places are burritos, enchiladas, or tamales. Can't go wrong with any of those at Los Perez. My partner is pescatarian and she raved about her shrimp tacos and some of the other vegetarian dishes she's had here. And make sure to ask for some hot sauce. I don't remember seeing it on the menu, but when we asked our waiter last time we were there he said they had some in the back and brought us a cup of it. It was absolutely amazing. We actually asked for a larger container to take some home with us to New Mexico where, again, we're not short on options for this sort of stuff. We wish they sold it in bottles that we could order and have shipped to us. It really is that good.
Love this place! Great atmosphere! Friendly staff...owner's go out of their way to make you feel welcome...like family! My family and I have tried many menu items...huge portions, lots of variety! Drinks are huge! Authentic cuisine at attractive prices!
